Dear Publisher
The Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) has, over the years, assumed singular importance in that it promotes exchange and cooperation between the Chinese and overseas contacts in the publishing fraternity and integrates book trading and copyrights transaction into one. Exerting tremendous influence in the book trading circles in Asia , BIBF has carved a niche for itself as one of the significant fairs of its kind in the world.
There is an excellent market in China for Indian books, specially books for children and books on classical Indian literature, anthologies of contemporary Indian literature, history, ideology and oriental studies, electronics, Indian art, religion & philosophy, yoga, meditation writings on Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Jawahar Lal Nehru, medicine and Indian system of medicine, social sciences, science & technology, computers, curios general books on curios and condiments, flora and fauna, performing arts, self-help, language learnings books and other outstanding/important works.
The NBT has been participating in the Beijing International Book Fair regularly for the last couple of years by putting up a collective display of books from India . With a view to strengthening the Indian presence and making it more meaningful and attractive, the NBT, for the first time, is setting up a joint Indian participation at one place under the aegis of the Trust in the Beijing International Book Fair to be held from 1 to 5 September 2005. Approximately 18 private publishers are joining NBT in this gesture.
I look forward to your cooperation.
With regards,
Yours sincerely
